Key Responsibilities:
· Implementing the cutting-edge firmware for advanced embedded systems, spanning 32-bit and 16-bit microcontrollers like the powerful ESP32 and STM32, with Arm Cortex-M7 and Cortex-M4 cores.
· Exploring the depths of single board computing with Raspberry Pi and Beagle Bone, pushing boundaries and unlocking new possibilities.
· Conducting research and developing the standard drivers for new systems.
· Working on various hardware interfaces in IoT.
· Diagnosing, modifying, and enhancing the pre-existing legacy code.
· Collaborating seamlessly with hardware engineers to rigorously assess, troubleshoot, and validate firmware on testing benches.
· Engaging with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of the system requirements to offer the most suitable solution architecture.
· Providing technical support at the client’s interface, as and when requisite.
· Implementing the cutting-edge industrial protocols drives such as OPC UA, Profibus, Profinet, HAAS, TCP/IP, UDP, PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradly, Delta) on linux based edge gateway.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Possess a minimum of 3 to 4 years of embedded programming experience.
· Exhibit proficiency in an object-oriented programming language like C or C++.
· Proficient with microcontroller Integrated Development Environment (IDE) design and development tools.
· Familiarity with serial communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C.
· Familiarity with field communication standards, such as Modbus RS485 (RTU/ASCII) and TCP/IP.
· A fundamental understanding of data routes, including MQTT and HTTP (methods like POST and GET).
· Basic Understanding of network stack, encompassing Wi-Fi, 4G-LTE, Ethernet, and Bluetooth.
· Basic understanding of hardware components and laboratory equipment.
· hands-on experience on developing and implementing robust data backup solution to save the critical data.
